In September last year I had a chat with my home radio station BBC Radio Orkney about the BIT Collective's important #TradStandsWithHer campaign, working to stamp out sexual abuse and harassment in the traditional arts scene.

I loved exploring the Isle of May virtually from my flat during lockdown and writing a little string quartet piece about it. Utterly thrilled that it won a prize in Scottish Natural Heritage & Fèis Rois ‘In Tune With Nature’ competition.

Thank you x1000000 to my pals Emily Davis, Jenny Wilkinson and Alice Allen for helping me create a lockdown recording of the piece. Here’s to playing all together in one room soon.

Part of the prize was to head to the isle with the wonderful film maker Graeme Roger. See the result below!
